  The Computational Biomedical Engineering Laboratory (CBEL) was founded by Dr. Herng-Hua Chang (張恆華) in Aug 2010 at ESOE, NTU. Prof Chang’s general research interests are in theoretic and applied aspects of interdisciplinary fields in engineering, science, and medicine to improve human health and quality of life. A theme of Prof Chang’s research is to develop practical algorithms and to create innovative devices for computing, analyzing, representing, and approximating real-world problems in biomedical signal/image processing, imaging, computational BME, nanoscience, engineering science, and biometrics.
